Elder Luke has also served with Elder Monson, Elder Vincent, Elder Turner, and his current companion is Elder Childs. I didn't see them on the list. Elder Luke is currently serving (Mar 07) as District Leader in Augusta and is a trainer. He loves the mission. This mission will be getting a new mission president in July named President Michael Jensen. He is from Price, Utah, which is just 40 miles from Elder Luke's home. President Jensen has relatives in our hometown, so Elder Luke will have something in common with this new president. President Jensen and his wife spoke in our stake conference yesterday. He definitely has the missionary spirit. I spoke with him after the meeting. He is very personable. I believe he will be a great mission president. |
