Comments:
Elder Lazenby leaves the MTC on December 27, 2005 to enter the mission field. He is an incredible young man with a strong testimony and great leadership ability. He is a very hard worker and does his best in whatever he undertakes to do.

Although he sometimes comes across as shy and quiet at first, he has much to offer. His testimony has come through hard work and helping others overcome sometimes difficult experiences.

We've had more than 45 foster children in our home over the years, so he has a unique vision of how some others live and the obstacles they face. This will give him a much needed sensitivity to the circumstances of those he meets in the mission field.

He knows how important the message is that he has been called to share. Go forth with power Elder Lazenby! We are praying for your success.

LDS QUOTE:
"It is not just that the Book of Mormon teaches us truth, though it indeed does that. It is not just that the Book of Mormon bears testimony of Christ, though it indeed does that, too. But there is something more. There is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path."
-President Ezra Taft Benson
Ensign, Nov. 1986
