Other Comments

While serving in the Cook Islands the visiting authorities included C. Douglas Barnes, S. Dilworth Young & Miilton R. Hunter; who later married my wife and I in the Salt Lake Temple.

When I arrived in the Rarotonga Mission, President & Sister M. Ward Moody were prerparing to return to Delta, UT. Three weeks after their departure the Rarotonga Mission was consolidated into the New Zealand North Mission.

Point of Interest: Several missionaries (Wesson, Evans, Fairbourn, Johnston and myselft) were returning to Rarotonga for a conference and we were fortunate to visit the islands of Pukapuka, Nassau, Palmerston and Suarrow. (We didn't stop at Suarrow, just sailed by). There had not been missionaries on Pukapuka for several years and I don't believe that missionaries were ever on Palmerston and Nassau. Of course, that was a few years ago.
