The Cook Island Mission was the most significant formative period of my life. The islands, the people, the companions were incomparable. I fell for Polynesian ethnology/languages and have never quit. Been back seven times in an attempt to capture the old spirit - a lot remains the same - a lot has changed but the Cook Islands remains a matchless experience. Kia Orana Kotou! Na Patiori
