The second version of the mission song came out in 1998. Pres. Bair added a verse and then some of the very musically talented elders recorded it at a member's basement studio. They recorded one "normal version" and on the other side of the tape was a jazzed up version of the same song, a more lively beat.

I didn't know that there are 2 versions of the mission song. What's the difference?

Hey there, I'm trying to find someone who has a tape of the mission song (The one's that were made in 1998 with Pres. Bair's words, not the blue tape) That's the tape that has two versions of the song. Please let me know. Thanks!

Does anyone else think the mission song was kind of gay?

We all know my kid will win, but ya'll can still post your pictures and we can see who can get second place. Second place wins a choice between a red snapper and whatever is in "the box" By the way, there is nothing in the box.

Does anyone know Tom Harrison? He served '96-'98 with Pres. Rasmussen and Bair. He was also a spanish speaking elder. Let me know if anyone knows where he is or how I can contact him. Thanks!

Just thought I would say Hey to all my companions and missionaries I served around. We had some great times in North Carolina and South Carolina. I served 97-99. Some of you just know me as Edogg or Edawg, depends on how you want to spell it. I am soon to be married to a beautiful Venezuelan lady named Doris. We will be living in Spain for around a year, then move to the states. For some of you know that I was on the crazy side in the mission.
