Dear NFEM Webmaster,
Thanks for all that you are doing. It is special to hear about the fruits of past labors and to see how the work is gaining strength. It is amazing to see the young missionaries that come here to the JMTC and to see how much they want to serve. Some are 4th generation members. Many are 2nd and 3rd generation members.
As we often are able to assist with their lesson practices at our apartment, even though it is only for practice, when they are sharing true principles, the tears and emotion still came as they testify. Even though my wife cannot understand most of the words, she is able to feel the spirit and joins in with her tears.
Thanks again for everything,
Elder & Sister Mel Marker, NFEM 1963 - 1965
Mel Marker writes: Just a brief note to inform you that my wife and I have received a mission call to serve in the Kirtland Ohio visitors center. We leave for the MTC on June 6, 2015. It is a visitors center, so please know that you are welcome to come for a visit. We will be out of town but not out of touch. Thanks for your friendship and support.
Mel and Diane Marker (NFEM 1963-65)

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
