I am interested in helping organize some sort of reunion for President Beazer's years (1990-1993). He and Sister Beazer are back in Mesa and working in the temple.
As most of you know, the Beazers served 2 more proselyting missions after presiding over the OOCM.
Let me know if any of you are interested. I was thinking close to Conference in Utah.
I have visited with President Beazer and he and Sis. Beazer are enthusiastic about the possibility of a reunion and are available.
Thanks.

Dear Elders and Sisters
We have just finished our 6th round of chemo. We were supposed to be able to take a break, unfortunately the cancer has continued to grow. So we are starting another round of chemo. I am asking anyone that would again like to join us in fasting and prayer for President to join us on Sunday the 29th of February. I can't tell you how appreciate your love, support and prayers on our behalf our. We know we are in the Lord's hands.
Love Sister Chai

Dear Elders and Sisters:
This is the last round of chemo that they can give President Chai. Then we have to wait and see what happens. We have been having trouble with elevated liver functions indicating that there is liver damage. Again, I would ask that any of our missionaries that would like, to fast with us on the 25th of January. We would like to let you know of our continued faith and trust in God and his plan for us, no matter what out come of all of this. Please know that we know God lives, and that he loves us. And that even though we go through some terrible trials and suffering, there is the promise of comfort, support, and succor. Our greatest desire is that no matter when the Lord calls us home, we will be ready to great him and that we will be worthy to be called by His name. Know we love you and are so grateful for your love, prayers and fasting on our behalf.
Love,
Sister Chai

Dear Elders and Sisters:
We are again ready to start round four of the chemo. I am again asking any of our missionaires that would like to fast with us to do so this Sunday, the 14th of December. We know that we are in the Lord's hands. He has been very merciful and gracious in the positive signs we have seen so far and we ask for your continued prayers on our behalf. I can't express adequately the love and gratitude we feel for you. You have made a difference in our lives. And not just now as we go through this experience, but from your example, love and devotion to the Lord that we see from your lives. Thank you so much!
We love you,
Sister Chai

I have some extremely sad news to report. Bro. William Kellis passed away on Monday Nov. 17th. He was a stake missionary in the Moore ward when he lived there. Him and his wife had since moved to Arizona and are currently in my ward. He also leaves behind two small children. An account has been set up in his name to help support the family. If you would like to contribute the infromation is as follows:
The William J Kellis Memorial Fund
Account Number: 0046 5608 2025
At Any Bank of America
Please keep his family in your prayers.

This Monday, November 24, President Chai will under go his third round of chemo-therapy. The first two showed some very positive signs and we are hoping the third will go as well. We are asking any of our that would like to fast with us to do so on Sunday, November 23, the day before his chemo. We feel that his continued success has been a direct result of fasting and prayer and are so grateful for your love and concern on our behalf. We would also appreciate your letting any missionaries that you may be in contact with about the fast. Again, we cannot express how much we love you and appreciate your prayers and fasting on our behalf.
Love,
Sister Chai

Hello all from The Patch years....
I am just sending out a little note to see if anyone might be intersted in organizing a reunion with me. It is a little much to have the Patches do it. I know we could get one ready by spring. Let me know if you would love to help!
Keep in touch!!

If you are coming to the reunion on October 4th @ 6:30, please rsvp if you haven't already. E-mail me or you can call (hm) 801-796-0706 or (cell) 801-369-0941. Make sure to bring a jacket and also a blanket to sit on if you want.
In case of bad weather, we will have it at the church just south of our house off 400 N. The church is on your right behind some houses before you get to Canal Dr. Hopefully it will be great weather though, so you won't have to worry...
This will be so much fun...I hope all of you can be there! Thanks so much, Angie

I was a little sad that there aren't many alumni from my mission generation. I served from March 2001 to Aug 2002, if anyone else who visits this site was there around the same time, you should sign in, so that we can be better represented.
As soon as I can figure out how to work my silly computer, I plan to add lots of fun photos, so look for those. MIN:)

heh - I served there well after your stint in OKC, I think (if memory serves right) I was there in the latter part of 1993.
From what I can remember, there wasn't a brick anywhere in the apartment. I think that we had the apartment changed previous to me being there. So, unfortunately, I think the brick may have been tossed out or is MIA.
Good luck... :)
