OBITUARY
FORD THOMAS HERVEY
Ford Thomas Hervey of Villa Ridge, Missouri was born November 18, 1993 in Keosauqua, Iowa the son of Robert Hervey and his wife, Amy, nee Slack. He passed away suddenly Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Washington, Missouri at the age of 13 years. He was a 7th grader at Meramec Valley Middle School in Pacific. Ford was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he was a Deacon. He was a Star Scout and a Senior Patrol Leader of Boy Scout Troop 988 in Washington. Ford loved Star Wars, camping, drawing, and going to the Temple. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hollis Hervey, step-grandfather, Kenneth Raisor, and great-grandfathers, Larry Slack and Ford Gano.
He is survived by his parents, Robert & Amy Hervey of Villa Ridge, MO. His sisters, Afton, Hollis, and Kristine Hervey and his brother, Glen Hervey, all of Villa Ridge. Grandparents, Darlene Raisor of Sevierville, Tennessee and Tom & Norene Slack of Greenwood, Indiana. Great-Grandparents; Lucille Gano of Keosauqua, Iowa, Margaret Slack of Taylorsville, Utah, and Vere & Gloria Berrett of South Jordan, Utah, great-great-grandmother, Joyce Grover, of South Jordan, Utah. Many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service was held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Washington, Missouri with Bishop Troy Donovan officiating. Burial was in the Wildey Oddfellows Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ford Thomas Hervey Fund at any US Bank.
