well, my name is michael. ill be entering the provo mtc on 30th march 2010. probably about 3 weeks there then into the field =) really looking forward to it.
im currently the louth branch mission leader, i know, long shot for just a prospective missionary but its a decent learning experience.
i have a very strong testimony of joseph smith as the prophet of the restoration of the gospel of christ. also of god the father and his son jesus christ as the saviour and redeemer of the world. i am especially greatful for the atonement and what that means to and for me personally, and how it will bless the lives of others who i will have the pleasure of teaching. the preparation for my mission thus far has proven difficult, but an amazing learning experience at the same time, i originally had 5 months to wait since recieving my call, now just 30 days left. ive learned alot, and will a better missionary now because of it.
the real purpose of coming on here before my mission is for current serving missionaries and leaders, and also those who have served, to give me advice i guess on what the mission is actually like. and just to tell me what might be good to do to prepare for this mission specifically so that i can be a more effective missionary.
anything will help really =P |
