News Item: 2002 Panama Mission Reunion A Success!

Thanks to all those who took part in planning this years Mission reunion and for all those who attended.
For those of you who were unable to attend, we had the privilege of hearing Presidents and Sisters Seegmiller and Williams speak. Many of us alumni were pleasantly surprised find Elder Perez of the Area Presidency in attendence. He too spoke and bore his testimony of the restored Gospel with the help of a translator (nice job, Elder Oliver). Afterwards, we had time to eat and visit with mission companions and friends.
For those of you interested in returning to Panama to attend the recently announced Panama Temple open house and dedication, we are hoping to arrange travel expenses at a group rate by chartering a plane or getting inexpensive airline tickets and hotel accomodations with someone's help.
If you have "connections" or other information that would help us with these expenses, please let me know. We are estimating it could take anywhere from a year and a half to two years to complete the construction of the new temple, so no matter the arrangements we come up with...start saving your money!
Also, I want to thank those of you who have helped inform other mission alumni about the new mission website. Since the site was launched in April this year, more than 80 alumni have added their names to the alumni database! That's great! We are trying to keep the site updated and constantly changing for your benefit. I hope you all are finding it's usefullness and continue to make use of it. Thanks again!
Hasta la proxima...
Jay Harvey
