I came home in May 2000. I've now been home for longer than I was on my mission. I'm doing the BYU thing, trying to get into the Construction Management program. That will set me on the road to fulfill my dream of becoming an Architect. I got married on January 18, 2002. The past six months have probably been the fastest that time has passed for me. Time really flies when you're having fun. I love it, and I love my wife. It's a blast being married. I also had "A Chance of a Lifetime" last February, to participate in the 2002 Winter Olympic games. I enjoyed playing the largest bass drum for the Utah Olympic Spirit Band, a typical marching band, made up of 232 of the best players from universities and high schools from all over Utah. We entertained crowds at many Olympic venues. Well, anyway, those are some of the highlights of my life since my mission. I think about Paraguay and my good friends there quite often. I'll always carry a part of my mission with me. Che Paraguay Ipora!! |
