During torrential rains, Elder Jay E. Jensen, Area President,
officiated over the groundbreaking ceremony for the Asuncion, Paraguay
Temple on Feb. 3. The article, written in Spanish, highlights the
importance of the temple and gives background of the Church. President
Carlos Roig, counselor in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission, said that no
other building on the earth compares to the temple of the Lord. The
temple is a sacred place where the influence of the Spirit can be felt,
he said.
