Hey all missionaries that served from 2002-2004. I am coming to the Philippines to visit from November 13th until December 15th. We hope to stay in Manilla for a few days and then tour the mission for about 2 weeks. Afterwards we will probably go south to the Mayon volcano and Cebu. Kumusta Ang Killi killi Mo to all the Baguio missionaries of 1986-88 that knew me! Its Former Elder Renuka here. 21 years is a long time when i served a mission with you in the great Baguio mission and i have fond memories that have given me strength and testimony of the gospal. I will always be greatful to all those former missionaries and members that touched my life, whilst i was serving a mission in the phillipines. I have always felt a deep sence of loss when i returned from my mission and my missionary journal has for the past 21 years kept my memories of you alive. I long to hear from my former companions and missionaries. I have also been blessed since returning from my mission 21 years ago with a wife named Julie whom i have been married to for the past 12 years and i have 3 children. Im an Alumini and it's good to know that our mission has a website as well. Before I go on, I want to ask if any of you remember Sister Lenna Key from New Zealand? She served together with me from 2001-2002 and I want to contact her but I can't find her name in our Alumini list. If any of you know, could you please get back to me ASAP. Just wanted to say hi to everyone here and hope to meet other missionaries that I served with. Hope all is well with those that served in this great mission. God bless and thank you! This is Cherry of the Area YSA Conference Committtee 2007.
This message is basically intended to all young single members, including me... In behalf of the committee we would like to invite all YSA representatives and YSAs to be take active participation in our yearly YSA Conference. Send me your email addresses so I can invite you (and your friends-kahit hindi PBM basta YSA) to our official Phils YSA Conference yahoogroups. You can create polls and share ideas for all YSAs to know, you can even post questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible, if you have any concerns, we would like to help!!! You can also meet with other "potential" SAs (as Elder Furio calls 'em....)
I'm excited myself to attend our RYSA this year, we've been planning and working since early this year for a better conference. Our area leaders are really inspired by God. I'm very blaessed to be part of this committee....

A co-worker travelling with me decided he really wants to go to Taal. he has never been to the philippines and since we only have 3 days he wants to spend one at the lake. that is fine with me, but i just want to make sure that its a fun place and not too far. does anyone know if they have waverunner rentals there? also, i dont want to drive so can anyone recommend a car service in manila that can take me where i want to go (including Taal)? thanks.
