Update 01 Aug 2006
Hello everyone, long time since I posted on here. Congratulations to Frandsen and Coy (Andrew, do they have early morning seminary in Utah or are you living somewhere else?). I am currently entering my last year at ASU (a lot of people go to school for 8 years!). We bought our second house recently and just added another member to our family. He was born on Friday, the 28 of July and is doing fantastic. I had some vacation time stored up at UPS and used it to help with the little one. We are now a family of four and truckin right along. Crabb, good luck with those sprinklers, I did mine in the first house and it was tedious. Take care everyone, its good to see so many posts lately.

Burgos on google earth 03 Jul 2006
Speaking of Burgos, there is some great close-ups of burgos on Google Earth. You can see the new chapel, which for those of us that remember when burgos only had 50-60 members it is very impressive.

Recipes 03 Jul 2006
Speaking of good recipes, I am wondering if nyone knows a good Filippino recipe book that is avaliable here in the States. I keep getting major cravings but am having a hard time remembering how to make stuff the right way. Also maybe if anyone has any good ones of their own, they could add them to the recipe page here on the site... Please...
Happy 4th of July everyone!

Dinakdakan 02 Jul 2006
Hey everybody! I'm having a craving for dinakdakan being the grilling season and all. I was wondering if anybody had a recipe for dinakdakan. I'm having trouble finding one on the internet that gives specifics on what quantities of each ingredient to use. Also I'm probably going to skip on the pigs brain (they didn't make it with pigs brain in Burgos anyway). Thanks in advance!

Coy update 24 Jun 2006
Hey its good to hear from those posting updates. Congrats to Frandsen on the soon to be new addition to your family. The events of the Coy family continue to be exciting and keeping me busy. My wife is pregnant with our 3rd boy , she is due around Aug 12th. I can't seem to be able to get the way to bring a daughter into the Coy household. If any of you have any ideas please let me know because my wife will keep trying till we have a girl. So having the two active Coy boys in the home keeps us moving. My oldest son Harrison just finished his second season of indoor soccer and will be starting his first year of outdoor soccer next month. My wife just completed a year as seminary teacher here in our ward. Every morning we had 10 teenagers sleep walk into our living room to study the BOM. With Jamie being pregnant I got to teach a few times and I enjoyed the in depth study of the scriptures. I am currently in the elders quorm and assist the young men on their back packing trips through the summer. I have been with Countrywide Home Loans for over three years and just got promoted to sales manager two months ago. Its been a great job and i enjoy going to work. I wanted to tell you all that I was in Philadelphia last week on buisness and had time to go to a very large asian food market. Oh man the smells came back and i had mission flash backs. The chickens and pork meats were hanging up. They had rows and rows of fish. I saw banana ketchup, I saw those menthol candies I use to eat called Maxx, i saw datu puti, the vinegar we use to buy with the chilis in it. I saw hot and spicy tuna and all those canned fish brands i use to buy and eat over rice. It was almost over whelming as for a moment I felt like I was back on the mission doing my shopping. They had fruits there that I hadn't seen since coming home, including boxes of mango. My wife served her mission in Thailand and we talk about visiting southeast asia again someday. Its the experience i had last week that brings all those great memories back. If any of you ever visit the east coast i still live in southern Pennsylvania feel free to call so we can visit.

congrats frandsen 23 Jun 2006
congrats frandsen on the child. I love having my little girl. she is about 18 months and i love having her around. I spend alot of time with her because im on summer break from teaching high school and my wife works full time as a nurse, hence I am the babysitter and loving every minuet of it. I tried to take my little girl fishing today but i forgot to take the fishing pole i was accupied with making sure she would have enough to do. I am getting ready to apply to grad school (film school) in december and we will see what happens from there. I live in Orem still and if anyone wants to go fishing, golfing, or to lunch I have a flexable schedule.

POSTINGS 23 Jun 2006
Thanks for the updates Crabb and Frandsen, it's nice to see some new info on here once in a while. We had a real quiet spell there for awhile. As for Cherrie and I, there isn't much to update. Kianna is 4 and KC just turned 1. I am still working as a microbiologist for the department of health, and I am also still in school. I guess the only new info is that Cherrie registered for classes at Eagle Gate college to get a degree in Dental assisting. Other than that, life is just the same. Thanks again for the updates. I hope to read some more updates from the rest of you out there soon.

Hello! 22 Jun 2006
It seems we've all got too busy with the mindless tasks in life...
Update on me and mine:
We are still here in Des Moines, IA. I am currently on a bit of a summer break between my first and second year. I am working a few jobs for the university and valeting cars at a country club to get ready for our first kid. Abby is due August 19th and is excited to get our little girl here.
Life has been quite uneventful since the spring break/stolen car fiasco. We are looking forward to visiting Idaho in July for my sister's wedding and to having the baby.
Well, I miss all you all and hope life is good!

SHHHHH 22 Jun 2006
I can't believe it's been almost two months since anyone has posted on here.

I haven't posted in longer than that so I guess now is a good time to update everyone on what we are doing these days.

I think I told you that we moved to Layton last year, in fact we are coming up on a year in another 2 months. I am still working at R&K Packaging and I do enjoy it. Monica and the girls spend a lot of time walking to the park and playing. She has to walk because we are currently a single car family, I always thought that would be so inconvenient but it's been four months and hasn't been too bad. We are expecting our third child. This one is a boy and he will be with us some time around Oct. 24th. I think he will be named Beck William Crabb! My two girls are really excited to have a little brother, though Harley keeps reminding me that all the toys at our house are girl toys so we will have to go shopping for boy toys.

There are not enough hours in the day or money in my wallet to do all I want to with our house and yard. I finally purchased all the equipment I need to install a sprinkling system in our yard. That will hopefully be done in the next week or two. After that we will have to till and get ready for sod.

So if you can't tell our summer will be busy with yard work and trying to keep Monica cool.

Hope to hear from more people soon!

Reunion Pictures 10 Apr 2006
Hey Everyone:

It was great to see those who came to the Reunion. I know that Presdient Gaviola was excited too. We were blessed to have a few Native American cultural dances from Sister Horrocks (Sis. John). And the visiting was great.

I have 3 pictures to post. Thanks to Grant Mack. Mine did not turn out too well. I have them in both Large and small size. If you have a slower internet connection, you may want to choose the smaller ones. The Large ones would be good for printing, as they are about 3MB each.

Take Care.

Hiatt
