| Hi, I'm a primary teacher from Wellsville, Utah USA. I have sharing time in July, it is on "Children all over the world are blessed by Temples." I would like to share with my primary the feelings of children around the world. Could you please help my get a child from the Philippines to answer two questions, "How does the temple bless you and How do you feel about the temples?" The child does not need to live near a temple. I would also like a picture of the child or drawing from the child, but it is not necessary. Please contact me at my e-mail cjleishman@pcu.net Thankyou, Julie Leishman |

I am concerned that those who read this message may be of little help. I think most of those registered on the site are those who once lived in Olongapo, but have now returned to their homes in various parts of the world. Most of these are in the United States themselves. There are a few who after serving in Olongapo, returned to their families elswhere in the Philippines, but many of these are far from Olongapo now. I am just trying to help you by letting you know that this may not be an effective method of contact for somebody in Olonpapo. I wish you luck in your search, and God bless.

To whom this may concern:
I have received a letter from a daughter in law in OLongapo city, Philippines. Her address below.
I need to find someone to investigate the living conditions and the "NEEDS" of my daughter and grandaughter. I received an alarming letter stating she has "no home and her only relatives were killed". Her statement requested "money". I do not know if this is a truthful situation. We need someone to help us see if there is a financial or destitute situation there, and to contact us with this information. PLEASE!
Her address is:
Cindy and Liberty Cook

# 1 OTERO Ave.
Mabayuan, Olongapo city, Philippines 2200
My address is:
Grandma Freda
Freda Brandon/Gable

| Elder David Petersen and I opened the area of Santa Cruz for the preaching of the Gospel in September 1978. I was just wondering how the work was going there. |

I was the 3rd Branch President while I was stationed at Cubi Pt. 1963-66 following the 1st, Pres. Olof Ford (US Navy civilian), and 2nd, Pres. George D. McGee.
We were part of the Central Luzon District of the Southern Far East Mission, headquartered in Hong Kong.
I have a copy of the history of the Church in the Philippines from the beginning until 1965 that I will try to put on the internet. |
