| What are you in for? Well, expect to have your life changed forever. Spiritually, a mission is a pleasant but intense boot camp. Your testimony and feelings about the Savior will be changed forever. Living in the Philippines and knowing the wonderful people who live there will also change your life forever. Prepare to have your heart touched by kindness and generosity from virtual strangers who have next to nothing. Work hard -- you will absolutely relish your mission experiences years from now when you tell your kids stories about tropical storms, BBQ-ed chicken feet, boiling your water and baptisms in the ocean. |

Hi Dan,
I am very envious of you! I can just say expect the time of your life. Take it all in, because it will be over before you know it.
Good Luck

Hey everybody,
I just thought I'd let all of you who know me that I'm getting married in less than 2 months. I'm getting married to on March 25th to an amazing girl. I'll try and send out an email, but I know I don't have everyone's address so I hopefully it gets spread by word of mouth.
Ingat! |

I don't know if you've been to this site or will be but I have great news. Remember Allan Ferrer of Bugallon, Pangasinan (first area)? He's serving a mission in my place Cagayan de Oro Mission. I was so happy when I heard about it and felt so fulfilled. I know you'll feel the same way knowing that a seed has grown and beginning to bear fruit on its own.
I'm just sorry i won't see him and be able to feed him Sprite and crackers too :) I'm currently in China and will be moving on to other places soon so I do not know when I'll be back in good ol' Philippines. I'll be in your part of the world someday but I hope this reach you first so I'll not be the only one jumping up and down for sheer joy. |
| |
Dr. Yvonne Gentzler and Dr. Virginia Clark Johnson have referred me to you. I need information on your experience with the merger of colleges. I am a doctoral student under them.
Please provide a phone or email. My email is above and my phone is 501-227-6644. I value your input.
Thank you.

Wanted to just say hi. I served twenty years ago in Dagupan (Elder Lomax) and my wife served in Iba (Sister Solon). In those days it was part of Baguio mission. Best place to serve.
