| I know some of you are going to lose out on some steep bets, but it's true, I am engaged. My fiancee is a Swissipino named Alma deGuzman. Her parents are from Manila and Pampanga and moved to Geneva right before Alma was born. She was raised there and visited the Philippines a lot, but never got the opportunity to live there until she went on a BYU internship working for UNICEF. I too was on said internship. So we work together, she lives across the hall, all the interns go on a vacation to Boracay, white sand, blue-green water, yeah, it's not too difficult when you have those environs. So we're getting married August 14 in the Salt Lake temple and having a reception that night in Provo. If you're reading this, you're invited. | |
