Barring any sudden changes and or catastrophe that I do not anticipate,
I am scheduled to commission in the Air Force as a 2nd Lt on the 13th of August at 4 pm.
It will be held at the BYU ROTC building.

Commissioning is where I will be taking the oath to sustain and support the Constitution of this great country. It will be etween 30 minutes to 1 hour since there will only be 4 of us scheduled to commission.
There will be a speaker but it will primarily be a simple ceremony.
I will also be graduating from Utah Valley State College on that same week.
All I've got to do now is finish my thesis and pass my math class. Those are the mountains I still need to climb this week ( I am scheduled to defend my undergrad thesis next week!) to earn my commissioning, but I'm working hard to accomplish it.
I really look forward to this solemn yet joyful occassion.

We weren't sure when the reunion was, sana nandiyan kami. It was posted on friday & saturday, but we didnt know for sure the exact day. Well just a quick update,my husband is in the Air Force, and our daughter is getting more cute each day. We have plans to move to the Philippines some day.

Hi guys, it's nice to see some familiar names (very few, actually).
We are currently living in the former Clark Air Base here in the Philippines. We've been here for 2 yrs. It's for my job.
We've actually gone back to some of our areas and met with some of my mission companion/friends. It's awesome to see "our" converts still active in the church. It's the greatest feeling. Marissa Andrade Lamoreaux
