Okay...I guess it's time to update the old mission profile. Well, here's a recap if you missed my life so far. I came home from Portugal in 2000. I joined the Army then I served in Iraq and Afghanistan. I got off of active duty with the army in late 2005, but I stayed in the army reserves. Until three months ago, I was finishing up my degree, dating, and applying to be a cop in Washington D.C. For right now my social life, professional career, and schooling are on hold because the Army reserves called me back to active duty to go to Iraq.
My unit is back in Baghdad and everyone is just having a splended time. The Iraqi people are so nice and kind. They all love us so much they leave bombs as presents on the road for us to find (it's like an easter egg hunt!). It's all sunshine, happy thoughts, and rainbows here in Baghdad. I'll let you guys know if I make it back home to the States again. Peace and Iraqi Grease! |
