| For anybody who knew Elder Cardon (2000-2002) you know that he is a funny guy. We lived in our first house together and were both straight from the MTC, now serving in the same district in Graca. Every night he would come home and write in his journal about all the crazy stuff that happened to him that day. He was always laughing as he wrote. One night, about 8 or 9 days after we first got there, he had me read his journal entry. I don't exactly remember the entry, but it was crazy funny. I was laughing so hard and asked him if it seriously happened. He told me that it had not, but that he had a goal to write something funny every day of his mission...if something funny didn't happen, he said, he simply made it up. That made me laugh even harder and it is one of the funniest things I remember about Elder Cardon. I love you Cardon!!! Long live The Pumpkins! |
