Has anyone heard anything in regard to the heavy flooding in western romania? It's been in the news that hundreds of villages have been flooded and 2000 people were relocated to higher grounds as the floods took out houses and livestock. Arad was said to be flooded in the streets and blocks.

A friend of mine works for a company based in Provo and they are extending their business into Romania and they are looking for people to help.
It would not require relocation, or even fulltime hours, but it may give you a reason to get back to Romania, or at the very least have some contact with Romania, plus it is a good way to supplement your income.

Wow! Time sure flies by! It feels like I just left on my mission! I've been home for about two weeks now and I agree with you all that it is definitely the best mission in the world! I love Romania and Moldova so much! Numai bine, toate cele bune, sa traiti bine! (and all the rest!)

There is also another way to mantain or increase your romanian: keep in touch with your romanian friends.
They'll be happy to help you.
Try this method because it works 100% (and is cheaper too).

I too had that same concern, how do you maintain or increase your Romanian? I went over to Romania in September and bought a ton of books since I thought that would be my only resource. Yet on all the books it gives you a website to check out for more books in Romanian. I haven't had a chance to check it out, but the site is www.raobooks.com. Maybe it will help us all.
