Buna tuturor!
One more detail to add for the Reunion.
I have contacted President Hansen and asked how we can further be involved to help build the church in Romania. His response led to the following project we will be doing at the mission reunion:
We as Romanian missionaries are in a unique position because we have relationships with the Romanian/Moldovan members and understand the language so that we can really help keep in contact and support them, even by letting them know we remember and care about them!
As part of the reunion, we are asking everybody to please bring a color copy of a current picture (or most flattering) that represents you/your family. We will have stationary-type paper there on which you can attach your picture with your name and contact information and write a quick update about what you are doing, including your testimony as you desire. (Note: we will also have dictionaries there for all of us that need a brush up!!!) After the reunion, we will mail these to each respective branch!
Especially with our busy schedules, please use this opportunity to keep in touch with those Romanian members that have made such a difference in your life, and vice versa.
We look forward to seeing you all there on Thursday night--please don't forget your pictures!

Maria Baias of Satu Mare was baptized in February 2003 in the Simi Valley, CA Stake. She loves the Church and is active in her ward and relief society. She can't wait to attend the temple and be sealed to her deceased husband. Her sister and daugther were present at her baptism. Her son is a nationally cunoscut poet from Satu Mare and she's trying to figure out how missionaries can get in touch with him. As far as I know, there are no missionaries in Satu Mare, but if that is not the case, let me know.

Hey All!
I was just looking over the website and noticed there is no plan as of yet for a reunion for those who served from 1999 until now. I was wondering if we are having a reunion, and if there is anyone planning it. I live in a house in Bountiful now and wouldn't mind setting something up there, if I could have a little help. Let me know, or if there is one already being planned, I would love to help you out.
Thanks Guys,
-Dustin

I was so happy to hear that Elizabeth Smart was found and that she is alive. I didn't think they will ever find her or that she will be alive. But, I think now that God really loves us and HE will make miracles for us. It's wonderful and my testimony grew more through this sad experience of Elisabeth. I hope this will be a "!" for those in charge with the protection of children and there will be no more frightening experiences like this with the kids.

When I read this article I was very impressed. I'm very happy for Elizabeth and her family.

Return of Missing Utah Girl Called a Miracle
By James Nelson
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Reuters) - Elizabeth Smart, who survived nine months of captivity and was never out of sight of her captors, was back in the arms of her family on Thursday after what some are calling a "miracle."

It was a happy end, but I hope nobody will be ever in this situation.

Hey Everyone!
I was thinking about going back to Romania this summer sometime, and was just wondering about costs. If there is anyone out there who has made the trip recently and doesn't get sick to their stomach when they think about the costs involved, I would like to know about what you spent. It would be my wife and I going, so the cost for two or just one would be fine.
Thanks guys!
VA IUBESC!
-Dustin
