"Cliff's Notes" timeline of my post-mission life:
April 1998: Finished at BYU, BFA in Illustration, emphasis in computer art and animation.
April 1998 - December 2000: Worked as a 3D digital artist for Zygote Media in Provo.
September 1998: Married Wendy. (Wise decision, as those of you who have met her can attest.)
December 2000 - current: Started up new company, DAZ 3D, creating tools for 3D computer artists and animators. Though I've done a little bit of everything here (artistic, technical, strategic), I'm currently in marketing and biz dev.
October 2005: Daughter Kathryn born. (Wonderful little girl, no bias whatsoever.)
Christmas 2005: Mr. Finnegan's Giving Chest released. It's a Christmas picture book I helped write and illustrate, with people at work and with actor Dick Van Dyke. 100,000 copies sold so far and we hope to make it into animated movie someday.
October 2007: Daughter Olivia born. (Also wonderful; it must be the great gene pool.)

Our family lives in Draper, 10 minutes from my work, which is great. After 7 years of working hard and playing hard, Wendy and I abandoned the DINK stage of our marriage (double income, no kids) and became parents. Finally, as the grandparents would say. Still haven't grown up yet, however. We're really enjoying parenthood so far! (Ask again when our daughters are teenagers...) Family life and especially work are quite hectic right now, so we're looking for ways to stop and smell the roses more frequently. We need more parties, more outdoors and more travel in our lives.

So if anyone wants to organize a mission reunion or just hang out, we're in!
