I had kept in touch with Sister Rogoza up until the summer of 2005. I knew she was suffering from cancer of the liver, and when all my emails were returned, I was worried but didn't know what else to do. I just found out from a missionary (from Stavropol, serving in my ward in MD) that our dear friend Ludmila passed away not long after I lost contact with her.
She was always happy and active in the gospel, never bitter, and even when she was sick, she was still trying to make me laugh. Those of you who knew her will remember that she always had a funny story to tell, a smile for everyone, and a contagious laugh.
I was blessed to be serve with Luda in Kaliningrad, We went with the members there the Freiberg temple for her to receive her endowment.
Did anyone else know of this? It made me so sad to think that I didn't know for such a long time.
Maybe it would be nice if everyone who knew her could post a story or something they remember about
Sister Rogoza.
