Comments: Pres. and Sister Sandberg are the parents of 6 married children and have 15 grandchildren. Pres. Sandberg had a career as an Economist and Economic Adviser and Consultant for both business and governments. He taught at BYU on two different ocassions. Sister Sandberg was a professional teacher. They lived in Saudi Arabia from 1986 to 2004, where Pres. Sandberg served as a bishop in Riyadh for 8 years, a counselor in the stake presidency for 4 years and president of the Arabian Peninsula Stake for the last 4 years. Pres. Sandberg was born and grew up on a farm in South Dakota. Sister Sandberg was born in Miami, Florida and grew up in Ft. Pierce, Florida. They met and married at BYU. They lived in Connecticut while Pres. Sandberg worked on a doctorate in Economics at Yale University. They have lived in Utah, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Saudi Arabia. |
