I just wanted to say hello to anyone who remembers me or whoever I served with from 1999 to 2000. I am in Alaska and am going to school. I hope all is well with everyone and would love to hear from any of you and find out what you have been up to.

Does anybody know Lena Morozova of the Saratov Dachniy Prikhod? Jeremy Williams and I baptized her and it was my first baptism. I lost contact with her a couple years ago and it's been eating at me for a while now. Last I heard of her somebody told me they thought she'd gone inactive. If anybody has any contact info for her or any info in general, please email or post. Thanks.
FYI- My wife is due April 12, so I'll post again when the baby is born so I can brag.

Hello, my name is Brett Breeden and I work for BYU Studies. We publish books as well as a scholarly journal dealing with LDS topics. I believe our most recent book, Mormon Missionaries Enter Eastern Europe, would be
of interest to former missionaries who visit your website. Here is a
brief summary of the book. Feel free to include it in its entirety, in part, or, if you like, rewrite it for your website. If you would like more information feel free to contact me at brettrbreeden@hotmail.com. I also have pictures of the author and the book cover if you are interested in them and would be more than happy to email them to you.
Text:
Mormon Missionaries Enter Eastern Europe, a new book by Kahlile B. Mehr, celebrates the first missionaries, humanitarian service workers and senior couples who overcame daunting obstacles to establish the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Central and Eastern Europe during the twentieth century. The book chronicles both the efforts made to bring the Mormon message to Eastern Europe before World War I and the LDS Churchs tremendous progress there since the end of the Cold War.
Mormon Missionaries Enter Eastern Europe also includes the fascinating missionary account of Mischa Markow, the first Mormon missionary to enter Eastern Europe a century ago. This autobiographical account charts Markows experiences in eight eastern European countries where he preached shortly after his own baptism as a Latter-day Saint in 1887.
If you are interested in purchasing Mormon Missionaries Enter Eastern Europe, please visit our website at http://byustudies.byu.edu.

Since we all got that cheery little propoganda spill from Palmer I thought I'd give my newest news. As of three weeks ago, Sunday, I had my last day in the service of Uncle Sams armed forces. I'm a bonified civilian. Yeah...

WOW!! The prophet went to Moscow this last week!! What a blessing for our wonderful saints and dear friends. Check out the site: www.meridianmagazine.com for photgraphs, and stories. They will soon be posting his entire speech. What a miracle! If you look closely, you'll even see some of our dear friends from Penza. Last month I had the opportunity to visit Russia, and the joy these people had in expecting a Prophet of the Lord was visible on their faces. Keep in touch with them. They love and miss you.

Julia Nekrasova from Samara emailed me looking for some contact info for a Sister Jeanna Sanders that served in Samara somewhere from 93-94. Last she knew she lived in WY and Julia said she'd be about 36-37 now. Anyone know where to find the missing sister? I'd appreciate some help in the search (as I'm sure Julia would too)
Thanks much.

Elder White,
I saw this guy in my New Testament class that was . . . well, you. So I said, "Hey Elder White," and he's all, " . . . uh . . hey . ." and gave me a look as if to say, "Who is this looney?" Then I realized that this guy wasn't the guy that I spent those months with in Engels. It turns out he is your brother. The dude looks exactly like you except shorter and skinnier. Anyway, I told him to pass along a big "hi" from Elder Schwartz.
