With the Matthews and Eric Jones, our family of nine was privileged to be the first members in Vladivostok, the first "lead elder" authorized to do missionary work in Vladivostok, the first branch presidency, and the first district presidency. What an incredible experience, as everything we got involved in seemed to be a "first." We were a bunch of ordinary people involved in some extraordinary things. Clearly the "stone cut without hands" was rolling forth, truly cut, as it were, "without hands," as the Lord put us together without any pre-conception on our part as to what this would lead to. |
