Hi everyone! I know this is a bit early for this type of question, but does anyone know anything about a mission reunion in April? Just wondering...

Aloha All,
Greeting from Hawaii. Sister Liew (Elly), Maggie Yuen our friend from Canada and me are going to USA Mainland on 15 Aug to 27 Aug. We will first arrive at Los Angeles and stay there until 19 Aug then we will drive down to Las Vegas and stay there until 22 Aug then we will drive to Utah and stay there until we leave at 27 Aug. That is our plan and we hope we will be able to visit some of our ex-presidents, ex-companions and ex-couple missionaries that we come to be acquaintance with during our mission. If you will please let us know your contact number and address, we might come and visit. See you all soon and take care.
Luv Ya,
Sister To a.k.a Karen To

We had a great time at the Reunion with President & Sister Collins they did a great job. It was nice to see everyone there, that could be there. The couples that we served with in the Singapore Mission were all there. We had dinner at the Chuck -a rama at 5:oo PM, before the reunion at the Wilkinson Center. We usually get together with the couples every month for dinner, Its nice that we have all become friends. Well all of you have a great day

I don't know how many of you served in Malacca or knew the Seet family, but I just received an excellent letter from them and felt that all Singapore Missionaires would love this news! I hope everyone is doing well and you all enjoyed the wonderful easter weekend.

In April 2000, we were working on sending Kee Wee out on his mission. He went to
the Taipei Taiwan Mission and will soon be coming home on 11 April this year.
How proud we are of him.
In April 2001, we were again working on sending out another missionary. Claire
went to the Kaohsiung Taiwan Mission and is still there doing wonderfully.
I guess it's only appropriate that we work on sending out another missionary
this April. So, guess who we're sending out this time? Have you guessed it? We
are so proud to announce to you that it is none other than our very own SAMUEL
LIM!!! Did you guess it right? I can't begin to tell you how much our little
hearts are filled with gratitude for all these wonderful blessings ............
our cup runneth over!
Samuel will be serving in the Taipei Taiwan Temple. His is actually not a
regular mission because he doesn't have a living spouse. President Orgill and
President Boone (the current Singapore mission president) will make arrangements
for him to serve there but there is no fixed period of time that he needs to be
there. In other words, he can come and go anytime he chooses and he has decided
that he would serve until Claire finishes in November this year and come home
together with her. Claire will need to get a special permission to go to Taipei
from Kaohsiung to get him before she comes home. I think this is such a swell
idea. All of us feel so good with this arrangement.
Well, we hope this piece of news has brighten up your day as it has ours
tremendously. Thank you for all that you've done and still continue to do to
have brought about this wonderful event in our lives. Although Melaka is still a
small branch, it has produced 2 great missionaries and on the way to producing
another one who is 75 going on 76! Amazing, huh?
We love you and hope that all is well with you and your loved ones. Take care.
With much love,
Seets
