Thanks Megan for posting the Aardema's homecoming. Thank you so much!!! I live in So. Jordan, UT, so I was able to go the sacrament meeting up in Ogden. It was also one of the most spiritual meetings I've ever been to, at least for me personally. I learned a lot about my upcoming mission. If you weren't able to attend it, the Mission President and his wife had GREAT things to say about the missionaries that they worked with. The mission president and his wife talked about how the missionaries in that area of the world are working against so much tradition and culture so they get rejected a lot. But they don't complain, they just keep working hard. The mission president had a great story about an Elder -I think he was using him as the stereotype new missionary- who went into the field thinking he would baptize thousands, and worked like he was going to baptize thousands, and ended up NOT baptizing thousands. But he did end up learning a lesson about how precious is one soul, and learning about how the "sacrifice" or the hard work is sacred, not just the "increase" or the results we can see. I've really been inspired by these stories, I think about them a lot. Thanks Megan and thanks to all the former missionaries who worked hard and set a good examples for the rest of us.

For those who know the Stojanovic family, I got a postcard from Nada last week. Mladen was ordained an Elder just about a month ago.

I just returned from Slovenija, and had a wonderful visit in Celje where I had the wonderful blessing of Baptising Mladen Stojanovic.
There is somthing that I would like to ask, or rather, have been asked to arrange, so what I would like to do is please, anyone who served in Celje, or knew the Stojanovic Family, I need to hear from you.

For anyone interested Michelle Fowler (Penfield) and I are trying to put together a mission reunion here in Arizona. We noticed that there are a lot of us who live in AZ now and thought it would be fun to get together. Ofcourse, you don't have to live here to come. If anyone would like to take a road trip, that would be great.
We were thinking about the weekend after general conference, but wanted some feed back. Please let us know either here on the message board, or you can email me.

I don't know if all of you are aware, but Sis. Balazic passed away. This is a copy of the email I received.
Dear Family and Friends,
This message is to inform you that Connie passed away today at 3:30. She
was stricken with ALS, (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). She is at peace
now. Her family members were with her. The funeral will be on Saturday
at 12:00 at the Cottage Lake Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints. No flowers please. Donate instead to the ALS
Division of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
