50th Wedding Anniversary
The children of Glen and Ruth Markus cordially invite you to an open house in celebration of their parents’ Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. Glen and Ruth were married November 22, 1957 in Midvale, Utah.
We will be holding an open house on Saturday, November 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the LDS Church located at 12850 South 2700 West, Riverton. Please join us for this special evening as we honor them. No gifts please.

Hello SACTM,
We are planning to have our SACTM mission reunion Friday, October 5, 2007. It will start at 6:30 p.m at the Draper Stake Center- 11626 So 300 E, Draper, Ut. This is for all those missionaries who served under Pres. Glen Markus.
We ask that you bring the item that corresponds with the first letter of your last name for dinner. Main coarse, drinks and eating utensils will be provided.
A- J- Desert
K-Q- Fruit or Green Salad
R-Z- Mexican side dish
A donation of $2 per person would be appreciated to help with costs. Any leftover funds will be passed on to the next reunion organizer.
Dress will be casual. Please let anyone from the mission know that this is going to happen, especially those not listed on this site.

Hi Guys, this is a long shot, but i was wondering if anyone from 96/97 would remember Graham's full name. We used to visit him in the Hospital and chat to him and help him where we could. He was in a wheelchair and couldn't speak except through a computer that he punched with a stick attached to a band around his head. Does anyone remember him and his name?

I just have some shipping questions/concerns. For all of you who have missionaires in SA, or who have had missionaries in SA...I just attempted to ship my first "package"..it was a "trip"!
1. Did you ever encounter a package NOT arriving?
2. Did you ever encounter anything being stolen from your package (some countries have their packages gone through and things disappear!?)
3. what is the best method of shipping for TIME and COST?

Hey everyone, I just received my call to Cape Town. I am way excited to go to this continent I have always wanted to go to! Can anyone tell me some things/facts that I wouldnt know or I should be excited about?
Will I learn any languages like Xhosa or other fun ones? What will most of my mission be like (walking/service)? You guys know how it is to get a call - help me out!

Just a note to let everyone know we will be coming over from Australia to be in Utah for the month of April and hope to see you at some time. Can someone help me with the kinds of things to prepare my missionary with? As far as - especially with - cameras? Can he bring a digital camera? Will he be able to charge it? Can he download the pix or will he have to send the memory card back home? Or can he go to a store there to have them sent online? ETC, ETC, ETC...
What about shavers...? Should he just bring the good 'ol shaving cream and razor? Or can he bring an electric?
Alarm clocks? Church music? Can you all help? What should we send and what not? I saw a great list for sister missionaries, but not so much for Elders.
Thank you if you can help! :) He/we are all looking forward to it very much!
