| I was the Afrikaans speaking member of our Companionship ... although this too might be a debatable point. I had a green companion and we had gone into a home to teach the discussion. My companion was silent the whole discussion and after about an hour we left. I was a bit disheartened because even though the people were nice they really didn't have an interest in what we had to teach. My companion was euphoric and when I asked him what he was so happy about. He said that the discussion was on of the most profound spiritual experiences he ever had. I was curious and asked him to explain. He said that GOD had opened his ears and given him the Gift of Interpretation of tounges and that he had understood every word of the discussion.
I replied "Elder they were speaking english they just have a South African Accent"
Who knows maybe there is a gift of Interpretation of Accents. |
