Melissa and I got married October 24, 1980. A little over a year after returning home from the mission. We were married in the Mesa temple. We have 9 living children. The oldest son served his mission in Mesa Arizona. Our second son served in Taiwan. Our third son is currently serving in the Roseville California, Spanish speaking mission. We currently have two kids in High school and this past year they have invited numerous friends into our home to have missionary discussions. (The only thing funner than sharing the gospel is watching your children share the gospel) Three of our oldest children have married (in the temple) and have given us 7 grandchildren.
When I returned home from the mission field I thought I had a firm, unshakable, vibrant testimony of Jesus Christ. Over the years I have come to realize that testimony was merely a bud. What I thought was a strong testimony has blossomed into something more beautiful than I could ever imagine. It never ceases to amaze me how much my Heavenly Father loves me and the countless ways he shows that love. |
