| Comments: Sep '08: My son, Andrew, arrived in Belgium Brussels / Netherlands mission. Able to carry on tradition of "parlez Francais" while serving in 1st city: Liège, Belgium Jan '09: Charleroi, Belgium and Sr. companion. Apr '09: District Leader in Charleroi, Belgium. Jul '09: Dunkerque, France and also District Leader. Sep '09: Bruxelles, Belgium and serving in mission office as Secrétaire de Légalité. 2nd Sunday in Bruxelles, our President Stevens was at church and spoke to Andrew. ------ Summer '06: Had wonderful trip w/ family to DC, NYC, upstate NY. Loved seeing historic Church sites around Palmyra, Whitmer farm, Priesthood Restoration. Andrew was born in Ithaca, NY. ------ '83 m. Debbie Fife of Salt Lake. BSME U of Utah in '84. Worked at IBM (Owego) in upstate New York ('84 - '90) on military & NASA computers. It was great being near historical church sites. Back to SLC in '90. Was with Evans & Sutherland doing thermal analysis for flight simulators from '90 - '02. Now at L-3 Communications managing Environmental Test Laboratory performing vibration, temperature, humidity, altitude, thermal shock, and corrosion tests on military communications systems: Global Hawk Predator U-2 (the Dragon Lady) 4 wonderful children: Andrew - on mission in Belgium (speaking French of course!!!) Sarah & Jenna [identical twins] Emily Love to go boating in summers / skiing in winters and watch kids play soccer all year long. | |
