Comments:
July 2016 - My youngest daughter, Emily, is now serving her mission in Rosario, Argentina.

Summer 2015 - twin daughters, Sarah & Jenna, both got married during the summer.

'13-'14 - My daughter, Jenna, served in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana mission.

'08 - '10: My son, Andrew, served in Belgium and northern France. I was ecstatic he was able to carry on tradition of "parlez Francais."

July '10: We were able to take the whole family to pick up Elder Andrew Schmutz at the conclusion of his Belgium Brussels / Netherlands and France Paris mission (combined in March 2010). My french slowly came back and Elder A. Schmutz said I did pretty well having not used it in 30 years.

We visited all the cities he served in (Liege BE, Charleroi BE, Dunkerque FR, Bruxelles BE, Versailles FR, Orleans FR) as well as attending church in my last city, Dijon. Soeur Fernandez invited the whole family over, on the spur of the moment, to come for Sunday dinner. La famille Fernandez was a newly baptized family when I served in Dijon 30 years ago. Dijon continues to grow and has a beautiful chapel now.

Also met Elder Canonica serving on his mission in Paris FR - I went on splits with his grandfather 32 years ago in Neuchatel CH when with E. Bjorkman.

Elder A. Schmutz was treated to a Sunday dinner in Versailles by Soeur Sophie Dagostino Reynolds and her beautiful family. Soeur Dagostino was a teenager in the Nyon CH branch when I served there 32 years ago.
