Comments:
Time for a new update on the Mayo's... We now have three grandchildren and all three of our children now have completed college degrees! Our son, Tim, and his wife, Christi, have two children. Owen will be three in a couple weeks. And little Emma celebrates her first birthday tomorrow. They live here in South Carolina. Our baby girl, Heather, and her husband, Brad, had a baby girl, Hailey, back in August. And Heather graduated from the University of Utah last May. They live in West Jordan, Utah. Our son, James, has just over a year left to complete his PhD in French at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with aspirations of teaching French at the university level when he completes his doctorate. Maureen and I continue to be busy with work (both directors at our offices) and new Church callings since I last posted. Maureen continues to spend most of her free time caring for her invalid mother who lives next door to us. Maureen is still into scrapbooking and I play golf as often as time permits. It's always great getting out to Utah to visit (especially with our daughter and new granddaughter out there). And it's great catching up with old mission friends out there whenever possible! I keep a set of golf clubs in Utah for my visits there so if anyone wants to golf whenever I'm out there, let me know!
