MESSAGE FOR THE HURST ERA MISSIONARIES
21.Mai.2009

Dear Missionaries of the Great Switzerland Zuerich Box B. Throw away your Nuggi Mission,

Early yesterday morning my father, your Pres, Clayton R. Hurst, passed away. He had been ill for so long, and yet somehow his passing was sudden, and my heart aches. Fortunately, Pres having been Pres, we are all laughing a lot as we reminisce -- that's how he would have liked it.

His years as a young missionary in the Swiss-Austrian mission were dear to him, but even more cherished was the time he spent serving with each of you, Missionaries of the Great. He loved Switzerland. He loves you -- yes, present tense -- your bond of friendship is eternal.

His funeral will be next Wednesday, 27 May, in Salt Lake City. An obituary will be published Sunday and Monday in both the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune; viewing and funeral details will of course be listed there.

With appreciation and love to you all,

Susan Hurst Rhondeau
