Well hello everybody!
Even though I am still in touch with many dear friends from the mission, it is going to be fun hearing from others with whom I have lost contact!
During my mission, I felt drawn to the youth of the church and decided I needed to switch my major upon my return home. I ended up majoring in German education. I have been teaching now for 14 years at Oak Canyon Junior High in Lindon, Utah. Even though I teach part-time now, I have around 188 students (it's Utah- big class loads!) I completed a master's degree as well in education and feel so strongly that our communities need teachers who are passionate about student learning!
My passion in life is my family! In August of 1999, I married Dave Lindsay. He was certainly worth the wait! Dave works as an RN and we are at the tail end of building a spec home on the side. We have three children: Taylor Jae, Jaxson, and Austin. |
