| Comments: E mea oaoa roa teie! What a sense of continuity this site can help provide. I served from April 1967 to September 1969. My companion in the Mission Home, Elder Taylor, and I were among the last of the 2 1/2 year missionaries called. I am married to the former Diane Slovacek, and we have three children. Our youngest is currently serving in the California San Diego Mission and is scheduled to return at the end of July 2003. I miss Tahiti, the people, the missionaries, and the beauty of tera fenua nehenehe roa'tu. Since returning, I have had almost no chance to speak Tahitian for about 30 years, but I make notes for church and work in Tahitian. It's a great way to keep things confidential here in Pennsylvania :) I would love to get back/stay in touch with you. | |
