Per Elder Dallenbach and current President Welsh's approval, the Papeete-Tahiti mission will hold its 169TH ANNIVERSARY ON OCTOBER 8-10, 2004. If you have any pictures, articles or press releases of former missionnaries who served there (basketball pictures for the good old days), please contact abish@byu.net or 801-418-0304 before September 10, 2004. We'll be compiling those for the shows! If you plan on attending and need reservations from the states, please contact the same info as well! PROGRAM - October 8, 2004 at Place Toata Cultural Display and Show (Dance, songs, slide show, and grand choir of 300+ people) - October 9, 2004 at Complexe de Arue Traditional Games Contest (porteurs, echasses, coco taamu, concours de chants avec nouvelle composition and MAA TAHITI) - October 10, 2004 at Place Toata Fireside (Testimonies of older former missionnaries, regional primary choir, grand choir, Hiro Mariteragi family, former missionnaries choir singing "Called to Serve." |
