Letter from President Benjamin T. Sinjoux regarding missionary work 08 Oct 2013
Ia ora na,

We are at 107 missionaries at present and we will be at 133 from October 07th. The number of baptisms for now is 560 as of September 30th. We had 113 baptisms this month of September and 81 baptisms in August. With the Lord’s support we could accomplish between 850 to 900 baptisms for this year. We have assigned a missionary team for each ward in all stakes. The couples are more likely to serve in the district branches. However, we have some young missionaries in the Marquesas, Rangiroa, Rurutu, Tubuai, Makemo, Takaroa. The members are much more involved in the proselyting work. Our missionaries do not really go door to door. They work through the members to find them new investigators to teach. They invite the members to find the friends of the Church and they follow up on their invitations. They hold family home evenings by sectors and they find new investigators.

We could handle another 10 t0 16 missionaries in addition.

We feel that Heavenly Father has been blessing our Mission with great success. Our missionaries are dedicated and obedient and hard workers with a lot of Faith to make things happen.

We love the Lord. We love you all.

Please send our love to all . We need your faithful prayers to help us accomplish the will of the Lord.

With much Aroha,
President Benjamin T. Sinjoux
