Hello all! I finally decided to put in a word here and make this attempt to remain in contact with the old gang as much as possible via online methods. If Ive been hard to reach, sorry! Life is pretty sweet here, Ive been very blessed since serving in the mish. Im sad that my Chinese is rusting away, but amazingly it's still there on the off chance I need to speak to an old buddy. It always takes me a while if somebody calls saying they are Sister Li or Sister Chen, and Im thinking of like 50 people it could be, until I play along long enough to realize who Im speaking with-Im not too good at remembering all the first names. After the mish, I got my Bachelor's in Social Work (what can I say, I was on an altruistic high from the mish, and wanted to go on to save the world!)....LOL! I got through 1/2 of my Masters, and decided it wasn't for me for right now. I specialized in child therapy issues, and treatment of Seriously Mentally ILl (maybe inspired by all the crazies in Taiwan?!!) . THen, in 2003, I married my husband, Ryan. Funny thing is that he was my HT right when I got home, and yet we didn't date till a couple years later when we ran into ea. other. (Oh well, dating your own HT would be too weird anyway!). Because of this union, I was fortunate to welcome two daughters into this world-Isabella, born 3-9-05 and Victoria, born 12-13-06. In the church I am serving as an Activity Days leader. My hubby is a manager of Western INternational University's CHandler, and Scottsdale AZ campus. He's keeping busy going towards his Master's degree. Sounds like a lot of you have done some extensive traveling and living in interesting places, so Im hoping that's the natural lot for a Taiwan RM! Id like to do the next fun and exciting thing, but we'll see. Let me know if you'll be in AZ and need a place to stay! THanks for visiting my page, bearing with my story, and please write me!!!!
