I was married in December 1977, six months after I returned, to my fiance, Nalani, who waited for me.
I work for the Department of Justice. Nalani is an elementary school teacher, teaching 5th graders. We have two children; Noelani (girl) 23; and Kahana (boy) 20.
Noelani is presently working at United Airlines and is engaged. Her fiance was baptized this past September. They plan to marry in the Hawaii Temple this November.
Kahana is currently serving in the Boston, Massachusetts - Portuguese speaking mission. He reported to the MTC on October 10, 2001 and arrived in Boston on December 13, 2001. He is now laboring in Chelsea, MA.
Currently, I am serving as the ward mission leader in the Kaneohe Hawaii Stake, Kaneohe 3rd Ward.
I had the pleasure of working with Elder Tennis as the first pair of Assistants called to the newly formed Kaoshiung Mission under President Hales. Although this assignment lasted eleven and a half months it is still a time period that I fondly look back upon and |
