Hello everybody,

I am still single, 47, soon will be 48, never been married. Living in Taiwan has a hard time finding a church brother to get married in the Temple. :) Not many church brothers my age, you know what I mean. :)

I attended a Taiwan missionary reunion on June 27-28, 2008 in Salt Lake City and talked to five mission presidents, and of course that included President Hyer and sister Hyer. I had a great time on that two days because I enjoyed the great love the returned missionaries had for we Chinese people, and I felt strongly of the spirit there, and the very strong missionary spirit there aslo. We shared our missionary experiences on the mission field, showed slides, talked about China and took pictures together as TAIWAN RETURNED MISSIONARIES. Yeh!

I especially feel and think that Taiwan returned missionaries are unique, special and wonderful, our missionary experiences and our mission even after mission have made us special people. I bet our lives have never been the same after we served our mission in Taiwan especially for you American elders and sisters.

I especially want to thank the American returned missionaries, for your love for we Chinese.

P.S. And don't forget to continue practicing the Chinese language, you had already spent a lot of time and effort learning it, use it or you will lose it. ( at least say it in your prayer, you might need to say a prayer in Chinese in public some day. ) Chinese is such a beautiful and useful language. ( I am actually proud of you because you speak Chinese so well, so byao dswen, better than other foreigners do in Taiwan, a lot of time even better than the local Taiwanese do. )

God bless!
