Made a trip to China (Aug 2003). Loved it!
My oldest son, Jason, returned home from Taichung Mission August 2005. Jason and my wife and I participated in some of the church's 50th Anniversary events in August 2006 -- ran into Elders Banks and Stout and Sister Yen. I heard Huang Chau-Wu was there but didn't see him. We visited Hualien, Puli, Taichung and Taipei. The highlight was doing an endowment session in Chinese! I can't wait to do it again -- maybe when it's not so hot :-)
Went to Beijing twice in early 2009 to meet with a Chinese research company I'd been invited to work for. Unfortunately, the plans to move to Beijing have been put on hold. :-(
I have some other things in the works so I hope to be there again soon anyway. |
