I have always had a believing and faithful heart. I'm beginning to understand and believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ includes faith that He can and will save me. As I struggle with the normal vicissitudes of life, I find great strength and comfort as I repeat this phrase: "I have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that he will save me."
Decades ago I decided to go on a mission and was appalled at how upset my mother was. As my daughter announced last October, 2012, that she was going on a mission I finally understood my mother's reaction. As the months have passed I have come to rejoice in her decision and I entrust her to the Lord and to you. I pray that you will grow to know, understand and love her the way that I do and the Lord.
