President Nielson's SARS Journal, Part 3 20 Jun 2003
Yesterday, the WHO lifted travel restrictions to Taiwan. Although
Taiwan is still listed as a SARS infected area, everyone is quite
excited to have the travel restrictions lifted. We reopened the temple
last week, but are not receiving bus excursions or holding baptisms.

Also, last week the wards and branches began holding Sacrament Meeting.
With the travel restrictions lifted, the wards and branches will return
to their regular schedules on June 29. The temple would return to
normal thereafter, except we are closing on July 1st for three seeks of
remodeling.

The Taiwan travel industry is hoping that the tourists will return.

It's good to be back to work. It was becoming boring just sitting at
home. It was almost as if we were quarantined.

Regards,
Thom Nielson
