I got married in the Bountiful temple in 2001 to Alan Helms. He served his mission in the Czech Republic. We had our first son, (Caleb) in 2003 and our second son (Jacob) in 2008. We also had a special needs foster son (Greg) for 4 years. I worked until my husband recieved his business degree and then I was able to become a stay at home mom (which I love!). I am currently attending Weber State and hope to recieve my BSW degree by spring of 2012. Then its off to get my masters (Walla Walla or U of U), in hopes of finally becoming an LCSW. My dream is to work with kids who have disabilities. I have been blessed to serve in many callings, including as YW and Primary president, and am currently a teacher in Relief Society. My testimony still burns brightly and I am soo grateful for the experiences of my mission that influence my life on a daily basis. |
