We have three grown children, 2 married, and one beautiful little granddaughter. Both our sons served full time missions. Spencer, our oldest, served in the France Paris Mission from 1997 to 1999. Mark, our youngest, served in the Florida Ft. Lauderdale (English) from 2001 to 2003.
Lois has 4 years until she retires from school teaching. I work as the director of Astro Camp Utah which Lois and I started in 1990.
Lois and I were recently released after a 2 1/2 year Service Mission to the Ogden Inner City area. It was a pleasure to once again wear the "Elder Douglas" badge but more special to have Lois as my companion.
Lois has served mostly in the Young Womens and Primary organizations on both the ward and stake level. I have served as Elders Quorum Counselor and President, Ward Clerk, Ward Executive Secretary, twice as Bishops Counselor, 9 years on High Council, High Priests Group Assistant, Young Mens Counselor, Young Mens Advisor, Sunday School Teacher, Primary Teacher, Webelos Leader, and currently serving as the Ward Mission Leader.
The gospel has always been very important to us and we have been truly blessed. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
