Comments:
Upon arriving home I went directly to school at BYU-Idaho. Elder Josh Jackson and his family live in Rexburg and offered me a place to live for my first semester of college. It was really great to live with Elder Jackson and his family. We are still close and speak often. During my first year of school I met my wife, Natalie. We dated for most of our college careers. After nearly 2 years of dating, we were married April 29, 2006 in the San Diego Temple. We recently graduated from BYU-Idaho and moved to Layton. I majored in English with additional studies in public relations and pre-law. Natalie graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. The plan was to attend law school at the University of Utah, but I came to the realization that I didn't want to be a lawyer about three weeks before I was to take the LSAT. I decided to pursue a career in a field I have always loved, writing. A friend of mine (acutally Elder Josh Jackson's little sister) was working at an advertising agency in Utah and recommened I apply for a copyediting position there. I was hired and three days after graduating I began my first day of work at ThomasArts Advertising. Natalie is the lead designer for a scrapbooking company in Salt Lake. We are making the transition to post-college life quite well. I am still able to skateboard often and Natalie and I went snowboarding almost every Saturday this last winter. I have also picked up paintball as another hobby and am currently preparing for a tournament series in Utah this summer. I was recently called to be the assistant Scout Master and Deacons quorum advisor in our ward and Natalie is on the Activites committee. Life is good and we are enjoying it.

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
