DR Mc Cord 13 Dec 2003
Hello! I served in THEM about 10yrs. ago. I lost track of a buddy of mine Brother Dalton Ray Mc Cord, who lived in Winnie, Texas. After a while, DR moved to Beumont or Port Arthur. If anyone knows of him let him know that the real Mccoy, Lemuel aka "Dirrty Mexican", Elder Rod is looking for him! At this point in his life he is about 70 yrs old. Like I said , if anyone knows his whereabouts, please guide him on how to get a hold of me, Martin Rodriguez from 1991 -1993, California, Los Angeles, Torrance.

Called 12 Nov 2003
I also received my mission call on the 22 of October. Just fyi, it was signed on the 21st of October(which is my father's birthday) and the 22 is my aunts birthday. Houston is where my family on both my mother's and father's sides were both converted to the Gospel. My grandparents were among the first in the area of Houston to be converted back in the early 60s. I was born in Austin. I am headed home! Cockroaches move over, Elder Gregory is coming home!
Sincerely Elder Gregory of Alpine, Utah

my call 01 Nov 2003
I recieved my mission call on the 22nd of October to the Texas Houston East Mission. I was excited and surprised at the same time. I report to the MTC on the 21st of January 2004. I must say that I am excited and nervous at the same time. But I hope the nervousness wears away when I get out there and start working. I have never been to Texas before so I have no idea what it is like there. All I have really heard that it is hot and humid. But altogether I am anxious to start working and can't wait to go.

Mission Home 30 Oct 2003
Actually the way I remember is that the Houston Mission Home is next to the peanut butter factory. The Houston East Mission home is there in Kingwood, and the Houston South Mission Home is still in Friendswood. That was the way it was when I was there, but it could have changed by now.

Office 28 Oct 2003
Houston South's mission office is in... ummm... well it is next door too the church Peanut Butter factory, I forget the name. But yeah, the Woodlands isn't part of our mission anymore. I have been there though... richy place, like Kingwood, maybe even more so!

Kingwoods office is 2815 W. Lake Houston Pky. #109 Kingwood, TX 77339.... next to a dentist office (and the Dr. is LDS... Horn or something? I don't know... I never served in Kingwood, can';t remember names anyway.)

Location of the Mission Office. 27 Oct 2003
You are right, the mission office along with the mission home used to be in Friendswood but that changed when I was there in '96-'98 serving my mission. They moved the mission office and mission home to Kingswood. Which is still rich area just as Friendwood is. Along with the dividing the Houston East to Houston South some of the land had to go. Currently there should be no mission office in Friendswood unless Houston South moved there if not then no there isn't.

Mission Office 27 Oct 2003
I served in THE Mission from 93-95, I'm wondering when the mission home changed to Kingswood? Is there still an office in Friendswood?
