Todd Baldwin Polley, 57, and DoraLea Stapley Polley, six children, Coronado Ward, Tucson Arizona North Stake: Texas San Antonio Mission, succeeding President James E. Slaughter and Sister Lisa Slaughter. Brother Polley is a former stake president, stake presidency counselor, district presidency counselor, bishop, bishopric counselor, high councilor, and missionary in the Spain Madrid Mission. Retired special agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Born in Tucson, Arizona, to Alan Knight Polley and Sharon Kay Brewington Polley. Sister Polley is a former ward Relief Society and Young Women president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, seminary teacher, Primary teacher, and Relief Society compassionate service leader. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Richard Del Stapley and Irma Dawn Richardson Stapley.

James E. Slaughter  (2013 to 2016)

James Edward Slaughter, 47, and Lisa Francis Slaughter, four children, Brimhall Ward, Bakersfield California Stake: Texas San Antonio Mission. Brother Slaughter has served as a counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, stake Sunday School president, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, seminary teacher, institute instructor and missionary in the México México City North Mission. Dentist, James E. Slaughter, DMD Inc. Born in Delano, Calif., to Nicholas R and Detra Lynn Vogler Slaughter. Sister Slaughter is a former counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, ward Primary president, ward missionary, ward organist, nursery leader, gospel doctrine teacher, ward gospel principles teacher and missionary in the Taiwan Taichung Mission. Born in Santa Ana, Calif., to Paul Edwin and Rosemarie Francis.

Stephen E. Jones  (2010 to 2013)

President Stephen E. Jones and Sister Suzanne Y. Jones were born in Utah and grew up in Salt Lake City. They attended the same Junior High School and High School and graduated the same year. President Jones served a mission in Barcelona, Spain and afterward he attended the University of Utah where he studied business and English. Sister Jones also attended the University of Utah where she studied Elementary Education. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 19, 1982.

Before the mission, President Jones was Vice President and Division Manager of Young Electric Sign Company in Southern California. They lived in Rancho Cucamonga for eleven years and will return there after their mission.

President Jones has served as counselor in a Stake Presidency, two times as bishop, bishop's counselor, high councilor, ward Young Men president and seminary teacher.

Sister Jones is a former Young Women President, Primary President, counselor in a ward Relief Society and Primary Music leader.

President and Sister Jones have seven children and two grandchildren with two more on the way. They have their three youngest children with them here on the mission in San Antonio.

Charles L. Cutler  (2007 to 2010)

President Charles (Chuck) L. Cutler and Sister Michelle M. Cutler are from Draper, Utah. They met while attending Brigham Young University. They have seven children (four boys and three girls), ranging from ages 4 to 18 (as of July 2007). Prior to serving in the Texas San Antonio Mission, President Cutler was a financial consultant for the Insight Group.

Marion D. Woods  (2001 to 2004)

President and Sister Woods are from Salt Lake City, Utah. They met at Brigham Young University after returning from missions served as young missionaries. President Woods graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS and an MBA degree. They are the parents of four children and fifteen grand children. President Woods is the owner and CEO of Republic Mortgage Commercial and C Kay Cummings Candies. In 2008 President and Sister Woods received a call to serve as President and Matron of the San Antonio Texas Temple. "We were thrilled to be asked to return to Texas. We love Texas and we were so humbled to be asked to serve the people whom we have come to love."

Kent F. Richards  (1998 to 2001)

Elder Kent F. Richards has been called to the Second Quorum of the Seventy. Prior to this calling Elder Richards served as a full-time missionary in the Southern Mexican Mission, elders quorum president, bishop, scoutmaster, high councilor and stake president, and president of the Texas San Antonio Mission. Elder Richards received a Bachelor of Science degree in medicine and his medical degree from the University of Utah. In 1977, Elder Richards began working as a surgeon. He has served as Senior Vice President of a non-profit system of hospitals, surgery centers, doctors and clinics and as a member of the board and executive committee of the organization’s board of trustees. Elder Richards has also served as a clinical professor of surgery.

Steven J. Nelson  (1992 to 1995)

Steve Nelson is from SLC, and served his mission in Texas. I married Cindi MacDonald in 1973 and together they have five children and 17 beautiful grandchildren. The mission experience in the Great Texas San Antonio Mission was such a wonderful and learning experience for us and our 5 children. They all grew from it so much. We love hearing from the missionaries and the progress in their lives. There is a web site for our mission years; tsam.org

Sister Nelson and I have been called on another mission for 2 years to serve as the Director of the Liberty Jail and Independence visitors centers. We are excited to again serve the Lord and work together in a full time calling. We have 22 sisters and 5 couples who manage the 50,000+ visitors a year. Come and see us in Zion, Independence, Jackson County Missouri.

Dale Huntsman  (1986 to 1989)

Dale Huntsman married Karma Christiansen on September 8, 1948 in Pleasant Grove. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 31, 1949. Together they served as Mission President and Matron to the Texas San Antonio Mission from 1986-89. Karma Christiansen Huntsman, age 70, of Monroe, died June 12, 2002 in Richfield, Utah. President Hunstman later re-married Ila Dean. They currently reside in Richfield, UT.
